H. S. High School is situated at Abohar Road, Muktsar about 3 km. from the local bus stand. The school is spread in a 6 acre land with salubrious green environs. It is a centrally air cooled, English medium day school established under the aegis of H. S. Education.

The mission of this institute is to empower all its students to be problem solvers, users of technology, effective communicators, well-beings and life long learners in a rapidly changing global community by providing challenging experiences in a safe, caring, supportive and co-operative environment and prepare them to be successful and happy in this highly competitive and challenging future global scenario.

School Timings

SUMMER:
8.00 A.M. to 2.00 P.M.

WINTER:
9.00 A.M. to 3.00 P.M.

School Uniform

Prescribed Uniform:
The pattern of the prescribed uniform is placed in the school lobby. Parents can buy uniform from anywhere.

Activity Day (Monday):
Students are to dress themselves in their designated House dress/colour allotted by the school.

Rules & Discipline

  • Regularity expected: Minimum 75% attendance required in complete session.
  • Absence info in writing must be provided without fail duly signed by parent/guardian. Fine of Rs. 5/- per day without permission.
  • Leave in the mid of school timing granted under compassionate grounds with class teacher recommendation & Principal approval.
  • Absence for more than 10 days without approved leave will render the pupil's name to be struck off the school rolls.

Fee Regulation

Quarterly Instalments:
1st Qtr (Apr-Jun) by 10th Apr; 2nd Qtr (Jul-Sep) by 10th Jul; 3rd Qtr (Oct-Dec) by 10th Oct; 4th Qtr (Jan-Mar) by 10th Jan.

Rebates & Concessions:
Rebate of Rs. 500/- on full payment of the whole year. 25% concession on Tuition Fee only for real brother or sister.

Late Fine & TC:
Rs. 50/- fine after 10th of due month. Re-admission fee: Rs. 1000/-. Duplicate TC: Rs. 50/-. Fee once paid is non-refundable.

Withdrawal Procedure

Withdrawal or removal of student from school depends on following grounds:-

→ By giving one month's advance notice in black & white. In case of failure to provide this will result in one month's fee disbursement.

By School Authorities:-

  • → Constant weakness in studies.
  • → Recurring failure in same class.
  • → Irregularity beyond limits in attendance.
  • → Non-payment of fee or chronic irregularity in payments.
  • → Moral breach considered most serious by the school.

  • Classes I - V: NCERT Marigold, Math-Magic, Looking Around (EVS), Rimjhim, Punjabi.
  • Classes VI - VIII: NCERT Science, Mathematics, Social Science, Honeycomb, Punjabi.
  • Classes IX - XII: Standard NCERT textbooks for all subjects and streams.

Parents are free to buy books from any vendor of their preference.
